LOGOS Summer Junior Counselors (Youth Volunteers)

We are looking for volunteers who have completed 6th-12th grade to help all day or just part of the day and earn service hours. LOGOS Summer is Monday to Friday, June 9-13, 2025, 8 am-5 pm, for children entering Kindergarten through graduating 5th grade. At this week-long day camp, children will enjoy the four parts of LOGOS (Bible study, recreation, worship arts, and family time) plus dance, science, and cooking! Celebration Sunday!

 On Sun., June 8, 11 am-1 pm, we’ll celebrate our wonderful church year with a taco truck, lawn games and a bouncy house for the kids.

Bible Study

Ben is leading a Bible study on Thursdays during the Easter season, through June 5, meeting from 6-7 pm in the parlor. The group is reading and discussing one of the most engaging books on the subject of Bible study and will have a chance to put what they read into practice! Cathy Dunn

Cathy Dunn has a diverse career as an organist/pianist, stage director, and singer. As a soprano in the chorus at Lyric Opera, she has appeared in nearly 2000 performances. She is the Resident Director for Petite Productions and also directs opera for Chicago Summer Opera. Cathy studied voice, piano, and organ at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, her hometown. She received a Master of Music degree from Northwestern University before continuing her studies in Germany. She has either…
