It’s a tradition at Fair Oaks to donate 10% of the candy we receive on Halloween. If you want to participate, bring your candy donation to church by Wed., Nov. 4.

Join your church friends for the annual Fall Feast on Sun., Nov. 15, from 5-7 pm in Fellowship Hall. There will be fun activities for adults and kids of all ages plus it will be an opportunity to simply share fellowship. Each family is asked to bring a dish to serve eight. Because we have a number of members with nut allergies, please bring only nut-free side dishes and desserts to the Fall Feast. On Sun., Nov. 1, we will commemorate the lives of the faithful departed in one of the oldest festivals of the church year. If you wish to have a loved one or friend who has died in the past year remembered on All Saints’ Day, please email that person’s name, along with a phonetic spelling if needed, to the office by Wed., Oct. 28.

There will be no Logos on Wed., Oct. 21, due to fall break. On Oct. 28, the theme will be Bubble, Bubble, Toil and Trouble (wear your Halloween costume). Logos got underway in late September but registration remains open. Logos is the weekly intergenerational experience where adults and children in grades 1 – 12 build relationships with one another and with God.
