Congregational Meeting

We will hold our annual Congregational Meeting on Sun., Feb. 2, following the 10 am worship service. During the meeting, the congregation will receive the 2025 budget and vote on updates to the co-pastors’ terms of call.

Registration Open for LOGOS Summer Camp

Children entering Kindergarten through graduating 5th grade are invited to our week-long day camp at Fair Oaks, June 9-13, 8 am-5 pm. This summer we are beginning a voluntary tiered-pricing structure from $100 to $300 for the week, and scholarships are still available. Children will bring their lunch, and the church will provide snacks.

Parents’ Time Out (PTO)

Calling all parents of K-12 students! Mark your calendars for PTO on Fri., Jan. 31, from 6-8 pm for pizza and socializing. Come make connections with other FOPC parents and have some fun. Babysitting for young children will be provided on site by FOPC senior high youth. A $20 contribution covers babysitting and beverages. All are invited to bring a salad or dessert, but this is not required! RSVP for parents and kids by emailing the office, and the address will be provided. 

Senior High Mission Trip Informational Meeting

Mark your calendars for the informational meeting for prospective mission trip participants and their parents/guardians following the 10 am worship service on Feb. 9! This year, participants on the Senior High Mission Trip will spend the week of July 18-25 in Atlanta, GA.

Book Group

One of Fair Oaks’ many adult gathering opportunities is the Book Group, which generally meets at 7 pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month during the program year. The group selects both fiction and non-fiction works that aspire to offer insights into our faith and meets in homes to allow for more relaxed fellowship. Valentine’s Day Care Packages for College Students/Young Adults

The Deacons invite Fair Oaks families to sign up for a Valentine’s Day Care Package for their college student(s) and/or young adult(s) working/traveling in their first few years after high school. If you would like your child to receive a care package, please email the office your student/young adult’s name and address by Wed., Feb. 5. 

FOPC Ski Trip

Join us on Sat., Feb. 8, for the annual FOPC ski outing to Cascade Mountain, Wisconsin. If you’re interested in participating, email the office. We hope to see you!

Winter Pickleball for Adults

Join Fair Oaks friends in the church gym at 9 am on Saturday mornings for a round of pickleball. Our court is (almost) regulation size, and beginners are welcome. There are plenty of extra paddles and balls, so no equipment is needed. We do need to know who is coming, so please email the church office to be added to TeamReach, the app through which we communicate to interested players.

Thursday Morning Bible Study

Our weekly class meets on Thursdays, from 9:30-10:30 am, in the parlor. All are welcome. We’re discussing Small Victories: Spotting Improbable Moments of Grace by Anne Lamott.
