Thursday Morning Bible Study

Our weekly class is on holiday break and will resume on Thurs., Jan. 9,  9:30-10:30 am, in the parlor or on the patio weather permitting. All are welcome. We’ll begin discussing Small Victories: Spotting Improbable Moments of Grace by Anne Lamott. Books are available at the Oak Park Main Library, first floor on the reserve shelf for book groups. Mitten Tree

All children are invited to decorate the Mitten Tree with new mittens, gloves and hats during our 4:30 pm Christmas Eve worship service, Tues., Dec. 24. They will be donated to the children at the Hephzibah Home in Oak Park.

Christmas Eve Worship Services

Join Fair Oaks in person or online to celebrate Christmas Eve on Tues., Dec. 24, at our 4:30 pm family friendly service and our 11 pm Lessons and Carols service. Both services will feature special music and candlelight. All are welcome!

Book Group

One of Fair Oaks’ many adult gathering opportunities is the Book Group, which generally meets at 7 pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month during the program year. The group selects both fiction and non-fiction works that aspire to offer insights into our faith and meets in homes to allow for more relaxed fellowship.
