This Fall we are offering a short term, in-depth Bible study called “Invitation to the New Testament.” It uses the Disciple style study that includes at-home Bible reading preparation and biweekly group discussions with video presentations from scholars about the text. This survey of the New Testament looks at how the early church took ownership of and was shaped by the story of Jesus and how the church learned how to develop as disciples and create communities of faith. Hailey will be leading the Bible study this Fall/Winter.
Our meetings will be in person on Thursday evenings from 6-7:30. See the schedule below. Something new (but optional) is to arrive at 5:30 for a quick dinner together. For the first week, everyone who is interested can bring their own meal and then we will discuss how we want to share meals in the future.
If you have any questions or are interested, please email the church office (office@fairoakspres.org). A participant book will be provided.
