We’re packing 50 lunches for the Housing Forward Emergency Shelter on Sunday, February 5, following the worship service. The Mission Committee will have all the food ready – for making sandwiches, and for filling lunch bags with other foods. Helpers of all ages are welcome!
There is an urgent need for food, including lunches, at the Emergency Shelter at St. Catherine/St Lucy Church, where 25 clients, including many Venezuelan refugees, are being served every night. Each morning when they leave, each client is given a lunch.
Housing Forward is one of our Mission Partners. The Emergency Shelter is currently in need of assistance with meals, on-site volunteers and translators.
