Sara Elizabeth Thomas: piano lessons

If you are looking for a group to join for study and to build new relationships in person during the day, this is the group for you! Our weekly class meets Thursday mornings from 9:30 – 10:30 in the parlor or on the patio weather permitting. All are welcome! Books are available at the Oak Park Main Library, first floor on the reserve shelf for book groups.

Field trip! We’ll meet at the church and go to Portillo’s for dinner and on to Funtopia.

Mid High (6th-8th grade) dinner and adventure at Fair Oaks.We’ll go on a fun field trip!

All adults are invited to Chili, Cornbread and Pie!, the annual potluck dinner, on Sunday, April 6, at 6 pm. We ask that you bring enough of one of the items to feed six to eight people. Soft drinks and water will be provided. BYOB for any other beverages. Join us for a special intergenerational Sunday School time for families to experience together followed by a palm processional led by the children and our 10 am worship service.

The Session has called a congregational meeting following our worship service on Sun., April 13, for the purpose of approving the terms of call for a new associate pastor identified by our Associate Pastor Nominating Committee.

In our Maundy Thursday service, we will join in a solemn remembrance of the Last Supper and Jesus’s final commandment to love one another with communion and Tenebrae.

Join Fair Oaks on Easter Sunday when we will joyfully celebrate the resurrection. There will be an Easter reception and children’s confetti egg hunt after the service. All are welcome!

All are welcome to join Book Group, which generally meets at 7 pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month during the program year. The group selects both fiction and non-fiction works that aspire to offer insights into our faith and meets in homes to allow for more relaxed fellowship.
